Cultural Villages

GLOBALfest provides an active vehicle for cultural groups to showcase and share their language, arts and crafts, dance, music, games, dress, food and beverages, religion and customs.

Please read the GLOBALfest Cultural Handbook for detailed information on the aims of GLOBALfest and guidelines for participation.

GLOBALfest welcomes communities or cultural groups that would like to secure a village site at the venue. Registrations of interest are being sought now. Please keep in mind that there is limited space and to guarantee a site you should get in touch with the Cultural Coordinator on the CONTACTs tab.

Each group decorates and authenticates an allocated area, 10m x 10m to fit the theme of their own culture and showcases the various aspects of their culture. Each village group will be provided a marquee, 3 tables (approximately 8ft long), 5 chairs.
